    TRANSLATION TOOLS (HUMAN-LANGUAGE)

  • Babel Fish

Free, computerized web page translator under the auspices of the Altavista search engine. Check to see which languages are currently available. A general caveat regarding any machine translator: while it may provide a rough, preliminary idea of a website's contents, it should not be relied upon exclusively, especially for medical and scientific queries that require very precise answers. Babel Fish, for example, reportedly has a 20% inaccuracy rate.
